Roll Call - Councilor Jacobs, McNabb Hunter, Dempsey, and Mayor Carnicelli –
Present.
City Staff Present – John Salomone, City Manager; Thomas Murphy, Deputy Police Chief; Thomas Leone, Corporation Counsel. City Clerk Debra McCormick was on vacation, Corporation Counsel filled in when needed for the Clerk.
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag
Presentations and Proclamations – Mayor Carnicelli read a proclamation honoring the Federation of New York Insurance Professionals Week.

First Readings of Ordinance and Local Laws -
Corporation Counsel read the following into the record:
Ordinance # 6 of 2003 authorizing amendment to the Code of the City of Auburn at Chapter 268 – Taxicabs.
Ordinance #7 of 2003 authorizing amendment to the Code of the City of aubur at Chapter 289 Vendors.
Work Session
Bond Rating – The City Manager and Council discussed the City’s Bond Rating.
Financial Update – The City Manager reviewed and discussed the City financial update for the period ending March 31 2003.
Other Business –
Mayor Carnicelli presented results of the 2003 report card that was introduced at the Chamber of Commerce State of the City and County luncheon and posted on the City’s web site for public response.
Public to be Heard
Jackie Bennett, 192 Perrine Ave. – Spoke to ask Council if rumors of Casey Park closing were true. She works there in the summer and was worried. Mayor Carnicelli and Mr. Salomone assured her it was not to be closed.
